I was reluctant to take the kids here for lunch on Friday afternoon because it got very mixed and quite a few negative reviews but our experience was fantastic. Our 3 girls ordered burgers and fries and ate every bite. I ordered a chicken salad. The lettuce was romaine and nicely green. The chicken was tender and juicy which can be hard to come by as I eat/order salads alot. The croutons were high quality.nThe soft drinks were fresh. I gave it 4 stars only because 5 stars means it's the Ritz in my book and this was a mom and pap restaurant fitting the area. The waitress and staff were very friendly and accommodating, giving us some left over biscuits from breakfast to take out to the back deck and feed the fish and turtles in the pond and some cold water for our little dog. It was the perfect experience to end our stay in Santa Claus as we were leaving town straightaway.nGive this place a try and don't be afraid to ask for what you're wanting. They seemed to be eager to want to please their customers.

Quaint little hotel with plenty of onsite activities for little ones and big ones alike. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. Early check in is allowed. There is also a resturaunt in the bottom level. The lodge was outdated but extremely clean. Easy to find plenty of parking.

The facility has LOTS of deferred Maintanence. Rooms are extremely dated. Like others have mentioned, we noticed the smell in the halls as well. The room seemed clean but there were visible stains in the carpets and bedding. Bedding was thin and had holes. Beds were uncomfortable. The spa tub sits open in the sitting room ( we had a family suite), kinda weird but made for a good place to dry suits as the bath room is really small. Outdoor pool is a lot nicer than the Indoor pool. I’m sure this place was cozy and fun in the early ‘80s. Best thing about the hotel is it’s proximity to the park and in saying so you get a since that the hotel is being entirely too opportunistic. Recommend checking out the Cottages for rent at the camp ground next to the park.

The staff were amazing, the room was spacious. It would be a great hotel if it was kept updated. The mattress was an outdated 6 inch coil style. The bathroom toilet seat was too big for the toilet and prevent the door from closing without lifting the seat. If the care for the hotel was that of the customer service it would be a great hotel.

This is a great place to stay. It's very kid-friendly. It has an indoor and outdoor pool. A playground for the kids to play. The room is okay a bit outdated but very clean. You will have to make sure you pay extra to have a refrigerator and microwave in your room. The staff is very friendly. The hotel has a restaurant in it. The food is very good.
