This has to be the absolute WORST pharmacy in the U.S. They never answer the phone and they have worst customer service! Can't even call a prescription in because they refuse to answer....they allow the the phone to ring and ring and then they pick it up without saying anything and put in on hold... eventually the phone will start ringing again and the same scenario happens over and over again until you hang up!

This is the worst Walgreens on the Far North side of Chicago that I have visited. The lack of customer service is appalling. Some of the items are located in weird aisles and the floors are filthy. Unfortunately, this is the closest store to me and therefore the closest pharmacy. The poor customer service extends to the pharmacy. The team is just interested in giving you your medicine and getting you out of the store. There doesn’t seem to be the same commitment to providing quality care and education that the other stores show. I’m not saying that they’re not hard working but they need to remember they’re also there to help the customer. I’m seriously considering transferring my prescriptions.

They, by far, take the longest to fill a prescription. Also, you can't even get ahold of them on the phone to check, because they constantly stick you on hold. They complain they're understaffed but always have at least 3 people working.

The pharmacy is the slowest ever. It has been like this for years. I waited on hold for 45 minutes (!!!!) to talk to the pharmacist after they gave me the wrong toothpaste prescription. When I finally spoke to someone she asked if I was okay keeping the incorrect prescription. I told her no and asked if they didn’t have the other in stock and she said they did. The customer care is the worst I’ve ever experienced.nnI don’t know about the retail as I don’t shop on that side. This is just about the pharmacy.

Nice staff but why does walgreens pay two guys to follow me around and try and intimidate me while I shop instead of hiring more clerks and pay people better? They already have half the items locked up.nPS lots of people use their own bag and no, I don't want to push around your covid cart.
