This is hands down the worst CVS I've been to in the city. Every time I go in really quick to get something, the self checkouts mess up even though everything went smoothly, says to wait for help for no reason and won't let me just pay and leave. But there is only ever one register person with a line, and they don't come help you until their line is gone, which might be 15 minutes later. It's the slowest checkout I've ever dealt with, and it's like that every single time, so maybe they need more employees. I spend 98% of my time in here just waiting to be able to pay.

Edith either doesn’t understand or care about customer service. Need to learn how to communicate clearly with customers, not just asking same questions over and over again but starting with sharing context/situation. No consistency in how they manage passport photos. They claim they don’t cut them unless you get passport photos ($14 for 2 photos) here although I did get my prints here ($2 for 6 photos). I’m sure CVS doesn’t have a detailed guideline to tell clerks to refuse to cut photos if customers don’t get passport photos here. Maybe they do, but either way - you can choose to be nice especially when there is no marginal cost. You already have the cutting machine and you just need to spend a minute to do it. In fact, a nice clerk at this location did it for me a few months back. So, at least be consistent and apologize if you are the one changing your mind. Well, your loss and I won’t be coming back ever.nnI ended up going over to a fedex location nearby and they cut my photos for free although I didn’t get photos/prints here!
