I went in today, 5 min ago. So I bought a gift card for my work but needed a receipt. He said no it’s digital now. I said I need a receipt to be reimbursed from my job. I never opted into no receipt. Manager gave attitude and a strange printout instead of receipt and blamed me for it. I never opted into that. I go to Decatur Walgreens on 6th ave all the time and always get a receipt.
no thanks to the rude, hostile and abrupt “photo specialist” who generally possessed a despicable attitude toward me and the only clerk working the front register today. this makes me loathe entering this store ever again.
The manager and the clerk upfront are not helpful and were downright rude today. The Walgreens coupons did not work, and they got huffy when they had to void the transaction. Not sorry for posting and calling you out on your behavior.
Be nice. These folks are overwhelmed during these tough times, especially in the pharmacy. They were very kind to me and took care of my needs, all I had to do was be patient and polite. Is it that tough to be nice? Lindsey was great. Thanks
