Rooms are extremely dirty, but it’s the only place that will allow pets in Enterprise. Front desk was punching a clock and didn’t care. Still waiting on a room receipt, but have no expectation it will actually come. Place is being renovated 15DEC20 at night, so if you like sleeping you won’t like that. Lights at night are dim, I did not want to park my vehicle there.nnIf you don’t absolutely have to come here, don’t.
This hotel is awesome. Nice location. Friendly staff. Room is too notch. Comfortable bed and pillows. Recliner is awesome. Room is spotless. Highly recommended.
This was our first visit, and it was a wonderful surprise. Favorite takeaway? The sheets were exquisite! I need to find some like that for our own.
I needed a room with a kitchenette for a six week long business trip. This was the only hotel with a kitchenette my work was willing to pay for. Due to people testing positive for COVID at work, my employer restricted us from coming into the office everyday and I ended up staying in the hotel at least half the days. And since most people in Alabama don’t seem to know what empathy or moral obligations are and don’t wear a mask or sanitize regularly out in public, I didn’t leave the hotel room much because I didn’t want to end up taking anything home to my at risk wife or kids. Normally, staying in a hotel all day wouldn’t be a big issue for me. At this hotel, however, it was...nnMost of my interactions I had with the staff were great. They were friendly and nice. IHG hotels are usually quite nice and are my preferred hotel to stay at.nnHowever, this place is undergoing renovations on the third floor. Everyday from about 8am until 8pm there were saws and hammers and stomping and shouting and loud obnoxious music. Sometimes it would be intermittent, sometimes it would be in the room directly above me, sometimes above and down the hall, sometimes continuous for an hour then stop and come back again... it was awful. Not an environment one can be in while attending virtual meetings or making phone calls.nnWhen it wasn’t the construction crew making very loud noises, it was the maid service slamming doors every 30 seconds from about 9am to 4pm. If it was the room next to mine, below me, or across the hall, I’d not only hear the door slam very loudly, but the walls and floor would vibrate. So even if I put in earplugs or headphones to reduce the sound, I would feel the doors slam. Instead of propping the doors open with a door stop or their cleaning cart, they enter and leave the room constantly to grab supplies or sheets or towels from the cart causing the doors to slam shut every time they enter or exit. I asked them politely after my second week there if they could prop the door open to reduce the amount of door slamming. They said they couldn’t because their policy says they can’t prop a guests door open if their personal items are still in there... I was appalled. I thought to myself Hello!? If you are in there, no one is coming in to steal that stuff unless it’s the staff! Every other hotel in the world I’ve ever stayed at they prop the door open with the cart or doorstop! Why can’t this place!?nnAlso, this is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. I’d say almost half the days I spent there, the hallway would reek of cigarette smoke a couple times a day, mostly in the evenings or late at night. Sometimes it was so bad that it would leak into my room. I called the front desk about this and they said they couldn’t do much about it and that it was probably a guest who was just outside smoking and walked in and it was just the residual smoke on them that I was smelling. Yeah, no... I grew up with my dad smoking, I know when it’s residual smoke or active smoke. It wasn’t residual. They even had machines they would turn on when they got complaints about someone smoking in the building that would ‘filter out’ the smoke smell. The machines basically stayed in various places most of the time filtering out the smoke smell...nnAnyway, I’m glad to be gone from there. I hope to never have to stay there again. people reading this probably think I’m just being a Karen, but I assure you, I never leave reviews like this. It saddens me to have to leave this awful of a review. I would not stay here again nor recommend anyone to stay here.
I love the staff members, they're pretty helpful however this place is relatively new yet the inside looks so run down :/
