Could use an update.

Very nice clean place to stay overnight, we stay here when we are traveling 65. Feel secure since it's on a military base. Staff is polite and respectful of covid mandates. Breakfast is served to go and has a nice selection.

Great room. Great rates. Great accommodations. Next door to Mother Ruckers (great beer!).

I have stayed at this hotel off and on for 12 years. And IHG has made slow improvements since takeing over, but if you have an option I would stay in enterprise at the candlewood. The price is close to the same and the rooms are nicer. If you are staying here for a long period of time and would like a kitchenette the rooms are really bad. You can see my previous post from a couple years ago and they have not changed. The remodeled rooms they do have where done some time ago and do look good by Army standard. I have been here just over a week and the carpet is peeling up by the doors, my door would not lock but has been fixed, paint is coming off the wall in bathroom, probably because the vent has never worked in the bathroom, the heater went out, heater was replaced but now makes loud ticking noises at night, and the lighting is very dim. If you are in one corner of the room it is extremely dim with all lights on. I feel some simpathy for IHG. They have very friendly staff and are always willing to help as much as they can. From what I understand IHG can not control the remolding of the rooms and the Army is to blame because IHG does not own the building only runs the hotel. I would recommend iHG off post but not on post. Especially if you want a kitchenette. I would hope that soldiers in a flight course that can not go to the chow halls and are here for a couple months would be given a kitchenette automatically, and if the kitchenette rooms are still as bad as they are now that they are not put in them but given a room in an IHG off post instead. Again I do recommend IHG but just not on post if given the choice
