Absolutely fantastic getaway! Great rooms, delicious breakfast and incredibly Covid safe. Joan thinks of everything. Sat outside under the stars at the gazebo and saw a spectacular night sky. Book directly through their web site and enjoy!
Perfect. While it may be one word used too often in reviews, I truly mean it as I write about our stay at Centennial House.nEven in the midst of the pandemic, our experience was charming and fun. Joan, her husband, and staff did an amazing job at making us feel safe and welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful (we stayed in the Deerfield King Suite - we highly recommend), the common areas were inviting and ideal for relaxing after a dinner (you have to go to the Gil Tavern), and all four of us agreed that the breakfast we were served (farm to table and more unique than any breakfast I have ever had) was the best we'd ever had (sorry, mom!). Next time you want to get away and enjoy a small town atmosphere, not far from Boston and close to Greenfield and Brattleboro, be sure to stay at Centennial House!
To be honest the atmosphere was wonderful the building was beautiful going back in time Seafood was just breakfast but they're the peekaboo eggs that's Italian bread with an egg they were great so where's the oatmeal other than that that a nice place to stay and visit other than that we've had a good time
We so enjoyed our brief stay here to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. The house is beautiful and you feel a part of history as you step inside. Our room was very comfortable and the hosts Joan and Steve were welcoming. The breakfast was very intimate and delicious. Definitely recommend a stay here at Centennial.
A step back into the past. Picture perfect decor with gracious hosts Joan and Steve who regale with tales of Northfield and celebrity guests. Scrumptious breakfast in front of the fire and conversation with always interesting guests. A wonderful stay.
