We had the most amazing stay! The Shelburne House is beautiful, charming, quiet, and kept immaculate inside and out. The owners, Sarah and Nathan, were so warm and gracious. The decor is so lovely and unique. We had the most delicious homemade breakfast (the best home fries and French toast I’ve ever had). We will definitely be back!
Such a lovely classic B&B! The location was amazing--beautiful and quiet, situated right across from an orchard, but with very easy access to nearby farmstores and cideries, and to downtown Greenfield. The breakfasts were terrific and Sarah and Nathan were very considerate and attentive about dietary restrictions and preferences. The rooms were clean and well-kept, and the common spaces in the house were lovely places to just hang out and take in the view or read and play a record. We'll definitely be coming back!
Had a most delightful stay over a long July weekend while attending the near-by wedding of a close friend. Sarah and Nathan were incredibly kind and considerate --it might have something to do with the adjoining views of western Massachusetts farm-fields and hill-sides and apple-orchards, or the birds (Yellowthroats and herons), or the water...who knows-- still, wonderful people and places to keep time in abeyance. (And just up the hill from Josh Simpson's glass studio!)
