Because when we got there we had reservations for inside party of four it's cold outside and it was really cold extremely cold and they wouldn't let us inside we waited over a half hour outside before I demanded that we go inside cuz the sheathing was available I had to argue with them the food was good service inside was a good outside was horrible and if it was cold I would never go there
The Thanksgiving turkey dinner was delicious! The turkey was tender and moist. The dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy were yummy. The pecan pie for dessert was yummy too. The service was friendly and attentive. I also loved the historic atmosphere.
Very nice stay for 6 nights. Great table service breakfast. Nice clean pretty room, I only wish we had a bathtub instead of accessible shower. Great period decor throughout building. Lovely landscaped grounds. Eager to please staff!
I've stayed at this B&B a couple of times. It's a beautiful location, great tavern and the rooms and beds are very comfortable. Stayed in the carriage house this visit, much quieter there then the main house. Check in staff was fine, check out staff not so good, kind of put a damper on the stay.
I hosted a bridal shower for my sister here. It was perfect! The venue was adorable, the food was great, the area is beautiful, and working with Emily was a pleasure. Our guests had a great time and my sister was very happy! I'd highly recommend it for a shower or party!
