Ox and Rabbit - Bed and Breakfast

Such a beautiful little place! The rooms are so pretty and comfortable, the owner was so attentive and sweet, and breakfast was delicious! It’s a beautiful area, within a five minute drive or ten minute walk of all the adorable shops, restaurants, and activities downtown. We are so glad we stayed here!

Ox and Rabbit is a lovely place to stay. The room was very comfortable. The inn is tastefully and creatively decorated, with a blend of Victorian and modern touches. The breakfasts were enormously satisfying, and dietary preferences honored with ease. Lauri and Bret are very personable hosts.Located at the edges of lovely Shelburne Falls, just a 10 minute walk to downtown and the Bridge of Flowers.

Quaint, cozy, an easy walk to downtown Shelburne Falls. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood. A sitting and dining area that begs to be sat in, quietly sipping coffee and reading amazing books. The food was delightful! Highly recommended.

Lovely town, really just the nicest place we visited. The B&B was fine, rooms were acceptable and unique, the lounge was lovely, as was the owner, breakfast was perfectly-acceptable too. Bathroom was quite a distance from the bedroom, not ideal. Watch out for the gap in the stairs going up to the front door, I hurt myself falling through the gap.

And it was clear to us that she wanted this to be a special and memorable visit.nLauri's home, itself is quite charming both in its gardens outdoors and its accommodations within.nThe outside is peaceful and welcoming, a wonderful place to renew oneself.nThe flowers in the garden are beautiful and there is a little play house that helps to adorn the property, just the kind of place you would want for your grandchildren to be able to play in.nThe inside of the house is comfortable and inviting.nThe living room is beautifully and tastefully decorated with comfortable sofas and a collection of books to choose from.nThe bedrooms are quite comfortable, each with its own special character.nMy wife and I stayed in a simple but comfortable bedroom and had the delight of a beautiful and well cared for bathroom with a luxurious shower that was almost too good to get out of.nAnd in the morning, there was Lauri, in chef’s garb, who had prepared a wonderful breakfast of fresh fruit and yogurt, a specially prepared baked apple delight, and bacon or sausages and eggs of your choice.nnLauri gave us a warm send off when we left, and we hope to come back someday before long.”
