This is not a place to stay if you are from out of town. The only reason I gave them a star is Ms. Lucy, the young lady that checked me in upon arrival, the hot water, and the functionality of the AC unit. Will not get caught sleeping AGAIN!!!!nI can show you better than I can tell you.
The staff were nice and the AC in the room was cool, but that's the only good things I have to say. There was black mold on the ceiling, the pool was closed by the health department because the water was green, the bathrooms were not clean, there was only a sheet as a bed covering, walls were dirty, basically everything was dirty. Also, I'm glad the building didn't catch on fire because our smoke detector was non existent, there were just wires hanging out of the wall. I don't think this place was worth the 40 bucks a night. As someone who often chooses choice hotels the poor repair of the facility and lack of housekeeping surprised me.
Cheap, friendly, well maintained. Don't expect breakfast, just coffee. Smoking and pet friendly available.
I would not recommend anyone to stay here. This is the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen! It’s so outdated, the bathroom was utterly disgusting. Rust in the tub, dirty walls, nasty beds. This place needs to be shut down immediately. I don’t see how this nasty place is even considered a motel.
The price is 50.00 with tax! It's overall shabby to say the least. Close to downtown Sumter, some of the rooms are up to date. They have a pool, with grills, and the food at the restaurant is great. Not a bad place but not a good one either.
