We have stayed at a BW before when we had a dog and we’re satisfied. This room was shabby, dark, decor is so outdated as to be ugly. The room had a musty odor. I wouldn’t walk on it without shoes. The ac unit could not be plugged in and the maintenance guy had gone home. The friendly desk clerk told us with a straight face that breakfast would be “served” between 6 and 10. We go in the office and see no action in kitchen area. A voice from the desk....”over here....how many......he hands us 2 paper bags! I was speechless! I thanked him and left and we both got in the car trying not to laugh and said “get me out of Walterboro!nTo the staff’s credit they obviously work hard to make it as nice as they can, no criticism for them, the beds and bathrooms are clean. We won’t be staying at a Best Western anytime soon. This hotel needs a major renovation.

Room was clean. Sheets are thin and it’s Not the most comfortable bedding in the world ...but you get what you pay for. There were 5 smaller throw size pillows on the bed instead of regular size pillows but they worked. We stayed in a 1 King bedroom and it was a little crowded with all the furniture because the room is pretty small. Room is well stocked with the usual supplies. Dated a bit but serves the purpose for an overnight stay that is close to 95. Pizza from Castillo’s 2 across the street was good for a late night dinner. We were trailering a boat and the staff had no problem with us parking it here in their lot. Lot is well lit so that made us feel better.

It was perfect for a family of 4 overnight stay. It was clean and didn't break the budget. The night lady was very sweet and kind to us. The bagged breakfast is such a great idea and you get yogurt, fruit. Granola bar, peanut butter and Jelly crustable, muffin. and a drink.

The hotel was located conveniently off 95 and close to restaurants. The room was comfortable, but small for a king room. The furniture was crowded with little room to walk around. The internet didn't work. The staff was wonderful and tried to fix the problem, but were unable to. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This works if you are just looking for a place to stay for overnight.

First time staying there and sorry we didn't choose Best Western sooner. We travel with dogs and their pet policy is very good. The room was clean and had a microwave, fridge and even a table with chair to enjoy an in-room meal, etc. We were able to park right outside the door which is very convenient for loading and unloading. The location is directly behind McDonalds and Ruby Tuesday. Perfect.
