Hilton Durham near Duke University

The room is setup beautifully and clean, however, there is no hot water! We ran hot water for a long time and two people took cold showers and the there is still no hot water for the third person. We reported it and front desk just ignored us and said they will look into it in the morning. When asked to send an extra pillow, front desk said we have to go down to get it ourselves. Not a pleasant experience at all!

The hotel was nice and clean but the lady at the front desk did not make me feel welcome. She was a black lady with braids and glasses. Her name tag said Lavon. She was so rude and unprofessional. Me and my family had a long day on the road and she was being very difficult. My dad was trying to check us in and she kept asking him all these types of questions. Then she looked at us like we were poor and disgusting. I became so upset that I left the hotel and I don't ever plan to come back. I really did expect more from the Hilton, but I guess it's not all that. I just want to put more emphasis on how this lady at the front desk made me feel. I have never been so disrespected. She needs to be fired because I'm not the only one that made a complaint tonight.nnMarch 22, 2021nAround 8:45 p.m

Double charged me. Toilet backed up and front desk just brought me a plunger. Not returning.
