21c Museum Hotel Durham

This was a different but great experience especially the museum inside of the hotel. The staff was nice and rooms clean. My girls and I enjoyed the arts and contributions to women as the theme in the museum.nnAlso the complimentary soap and lotion was very nice. I tried to order at check out but they sold out.

The location is great and the museum is intriguing. We had several issues with our room including a lamp that didn't work, a mini fridge We couldn't use because it was already filled with pay for items. The staff brought up a replacement lamp and a mini fridge. The toilet paper holder kept coming off the side of the bathroom counter and there were some lights out in the vanity. The beds were extremely comfy and the staff tried to accommodate any shortcomings.

Business schools across the country should send students to 21c to learn customer service from Nancy because she is the greatest. Came here to celebrate our engagement and Nancy helped make it perfect. And Rob was very helpful and accommodating on our night of check in. Highly recommend, and masseuses were wonderful.

Decent stay. Found a lot of issues with the room. Don't recommend staying.nn1. There were bugs in the bathroom and bedroom.n2. The bedsheets were not clean and had brown stain on it.n3. The bathroom sink clogged all the time. Disgusting.n4. Bathroom tissue box was dirty (tissues were yellow)

I stayed there with my husband for 4 nights. Many issues with the cleanliness of the room. Never had such bad experience before. Housekeeping was not an option because of COVID-19 so we had to throw our own trash and call room service every time we need anything. We ordered toothpaste and they forgot the room number and we had to call again the next morning. I was also surprised there was no coffee machine in the room.nnThe only nice thing there was the valet. Very responsive and convenient. Location is OK. Many good restaurants and cafes at a walking distance but a lot of sketchy people around especially late night or early in the morning.
