Millennium Hotel Durham

This hotel was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable during COVID. The room was huge two huge king beds plus a huge bathroom which I loved the sliding barn door for privacy. The room was very clean and comfy. The restaurant was closed but the area had so many options for food especially vegetarian it was a nice short drive or walk to places. The pool was amazing as well. Highly recommend staying here

Overall I enjoyed my stay here over the weekend. I stayed in room 156 and even though I almost got lost getting to my room on multiple occasions (it was on the back end of the hotel), the hotel was nice. Check-in was a breeze, staff was respectful. My room was comfortable, well lit, no surprises, no bed bugs, no smell of smoke, no loud people walking the hallway which made my stay worth coming back. The best part of the room is the sliding door that leads to the closet space and bathroom (nothing like privacy). I didn't get the chance to get near the pool and the restaurant part was gone(closed). There were some rips on the chairs, holes on the curtain, and the latch on the door was gone but nothing major. I wouldn't mind staying there again when I come back to visit.

I had a great stay. My room and the public areas were all clean and comfortable. The area was nice, too. In close proximity to the hospitals but away from main roads and highways so I had no noise to deal with.

Great place to stay! The staff is very friendly, the room is clean and well furnished, and the location/shuttle is very convenient. The restaurant wasn't open during my stay due to COVID but the staff provided a list of delivery options that served the need. The hotel has a lot of charm and I will definitely be staying again!

Staff was a bit rude when we mentioned that their timezones clocks were off by an hour while making conversation.nnRooms were acceptable, spacious and clean, though our cellphones would randomly lose service. Stayed for a week and had multiple issues with parties late at night that kept us up, lots people and children screaming and running in the hallways, parents yelling at said children, and a super strong marijuana smell in the elevators and hallways that they tried to cover with some scent spray that also crept into the rooms from the vents.nnThey do offer a laundry room for visitors, and appear to have a dining area but it seems to be closed due to covid-19.nnPrice was very affordable, but not worth the headache. Will be going back to the Hilton, which is not much more expensive and is in a similar area of convenience.
