We stayed at the Dr. Dodson house this past weekend. Fortunately the third floor suite was available. It was newly renovated; the innkeeper, Janet, had anticipated how the space could be optimally utilized and it was done so with a lot of thought, comfort and taste. The house is one block away from the main street and one block away from the harbor and St. Michael's Maritime Museum; we parked our car when we arrived and were able to walk to enjoy shopping, restaurants and the harbor all on foot. Kudos to Janet for the wonderful stay!
My wife and I had a magical experience there. The room, the furniture, and the building are gorgeous. It's not far from Talbot Street and all of the night-life. And the hospitality shown us was so welcoming and lovely.
Excellent location mere blocks from everything. The room was spacious and quiet and the bed was comfortable. We loved the second floor porch and the fireplace. Janet, the hostess, prepared fabulous breakfasts.
Gorgeous house, beautiful rooms, and the perfect location.
