Amazing place! Quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing! The staff was well organized and professional. We will definitely stay here again.
Beautiful venue, excellent staff. Attended a wedding here and I was very impressed.
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend celebrating our anniversary here. The rooms are beautifully restored and sparkling clean. The grounds are expansive and offer stunning views. (It is super easy to socially distance when you have hundreds of acres at your disposal.) The breakfasts were delectable and the chef thoughtfully accommodated my gluten intolerance. The inn keepers offered helpful information, including local recommendations which were spot on. We had fun exploring Shepherdstown, WV (try Maria's Taqueria), Harper's Ferry, and Springfield Manor -their sister property, which boasts a brewery, distillery, and winery!nnWe hope to return again soon. This property and the innkeepers who run it are a true gem.
The property was gorgeous, with so much room to spread out. We stayed on a night with a wedding reception and a few other couples in the inn but it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The innkeepers were very warm and accommodating.
Peaceful and beautiful place to get away. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.
