(This review is for the pharmacy specifically, not the whole store.) The pharmacists here are always friendly, accommodating, professional, efficient, and respectful of privacy-- whether or not other customers are around. If I go to pick something up in the actual morning, it's ready. They're open after 5 on Sunday. There's never issues with insurance, or other surprises. I mean... that's pretty much everything you want in a pharmacy. Full 5 from me. ud83cudf1f

The wait time was good for the late afternoon, and the PA/Nurse practitioner I saw was very kind and compassionate. She asked that I follow up with them two days later if my symptoms did not improve, as it would be an indication that the antibiotic she had prescribed was not effective. I inquired but the PA explained that they were not able to cc' me on lab results so that I could take my results to another doctor or urgent care facility if a higher level of care was needed, apparently.nnTwo days later I followed up as my symptoms had not improved. First off, you have to call their toll free number and reach a call center where you can request to speak to the Minute Clinic in your area. The wait times are between 15-30 minutes for this step, I've found. When I spoke to the PA on staff at my Minute Clinic, I reiterated what I had gone over with the PA I had seen two days prior. I let her know that my symptoms had not improved, and that I did not feel the antibiotic was effective. Instead of asking me what my symptoms were, she abruptly told me I would have to go to an urgent care clinic if I was in pain. She didn't show any compassion, and even lacked courtesy. This was also not what the PA I had originally seen had told me, so there isn't really any continuity with care you receive at this type of 'drive through' clinic.nnShe then also said that she would have to wait for a final result on tests to change the antibiotic, and the results were not going to be available until the next day. So they knew I had an infection, knew what it was, just didn't have the final report so she was not willing to update the antibiotic based on my symptoms. Waiting a full 24 hours when you are taking an ineffective antibiotic is not smart, so I am opting to go to an Urgent care facility and spend more money, more time and wait several more days for test results. Thanks Minute Clinic! For me this was a waste of a co-pay and time as they refuse to share any test results with me and claimed they were not able to carbon copy me on results initially.nnThat said, if you need a vaccine or need a physical for school, I think this is perhaps a convenient way to get care. They advertise that they can handle infections such as respiratory, UTI, etc, but based on my experience I don't feel they handled my situation well.nnIf you have an infection, you should consider seeing a primary care physician for care, as Minute Clinic doesn't even seem to be able to provide copies of test results so that you can use them as a preliminary step before you seek a higher level of care at an urgent facility. As it stands, if I have to go to an urgent care facility, I have to start all over with testing, which is time consuming and causes a delay in getting the care I need.

That one opens 24 hours. Anytime, the pharmacy will welcome you in your emergency. I love it. Keep it up!

The pharmacy department is the absolute worst! The only good thing about this pharmacy and the only reason why I continue to use it is because its the only 24 hour one here in Frederick. Otherwise the customer service is terrible. The pharmacist refuse to give me the fax number so that I can provide it to my daughter's doctors office. When I've called and gotten their fax number multiple times before. I can count on one hand how many times I've been treated properly at this location.
