Extremely happy with our stay and the service here. I even messed up my breakfast order and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend the yurt! The hiking trails are awesome.
Highly recommend! The Lodge provides a perfect escape from the city life or COVID craziness for a relaxing, intimate stay. Includes a cozy cocktail lounge/bar attached to the restaurant and an outdoors bar beside the bonfire! Amazing staff members to top it all off!!
We enjoyed a fantastic weekend in one of the yurts. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with the contactless service. We enjoyed a wine tasting and yummy charcuterie board after a beautiful snow shoe along the savage river. Every meal was delicious and we reveled in reading by the fire with the rain singing on the cover of our yurt. Oh, did I mention the coyote serenade?
Covid friendly! For those anxious to leave the house and do things this is the place. You get a private yurt and you can smell the cleaner when you walk in. The staff is great and the inside is like a mountain oasis. Fell in love quickly
We just left our two day getaway with our pup in one of the cabins. I’ll start with the many positives: great customer service, food was really good and always came on time, amazing hiking trails, super quiet, cozy and clean cabin, and lots of beautiful scenery and snow. We knew going in that this was a “come and disconnect” place so the lack of cell service wasn’t a problem for us.nnThe only complaint I have is the bed. There were a lot of issues. The main one being that it was SUPER uncomfortable. I think the last time I slept on something so rock hard was at summer camp as a kid. I can sleep on pretty much anything but it’s sad when the bed we brought for our dog was more comfortable than the bed we paid for. The pillows were also terrible (at least in our cabin). We also found a lot of dog/cat hair in our bed which was not great. We lint rolled it all out but still kind of gross. The sheets ver clearly had bed washed and smelled like they had been washed. I’m guessing the washing machine didn’t get all of the hair. We slept terribly solely because of how hard the bed was.nnAll in all, I would absolutely come back. Since it was a mini vacation the lack of sleep didn’t ruin our time but needless to say I definitely think it’s time to upgrade the beds/pillows and maybe double check that the washing machine got out all of the hair.
