Old fashioned rooms but very friendly and clean
Outdated but very kept up and very clean.nNew flatscreens, fridge and microwave in every room. Bed is comfortable but bedspread is typical thin and cheap motel blanket.nRooms do not stink at all or smell like smoke. Very hot water and great preassure. Very quiet parking lot.
The air conditioner did not put out in air. I called the front desk to let them know. They did not offer to switch out our rooms. It was a miserable stay. The room are not the best. Will not go back.
For many years myself, as well as other family and friends have paid for rooms at the Twin City Motel even though we live in the same city as the motel. We would do this several times during the hot months so we can have access to the pool. Many vacation of sorts. In the past years we have never had a problem and anyone who worked there was very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were always clean! We just had our first weekend of the year at the motel the weekend of June 16/17. NEW OWNERS!! Nothing is the same. There were spills of brown on the floor that had not been cleaned and had dried there on the floor. The mattresses covers were filthy with what looked like blood stains and who knows what all else. Keep in mind these were mattress 'covers' and could be removed and washed but weren't. The new owners complained about our children at the pool and were watching us the entire time like we were going to steal their business. We were all mad to feel very uncomfortable and it was not a pleasant stay at all like we have had in the past. We will NEVER go to Twin City Motel again and I will be sure and inform all my other friends and family of these issues. They have definitely lost a lot of business. Gave 1 star to enable the next survey question.
Very nice for the money. Clean and quite.The owners are great and really care about their guest's. I will most definitely stay here the next time I am in Morgan City.
