Beds and pillows were SO comfortable. Im only giving 4 stars because I was double charged and the manager never called me back. I would still visit again though.
Thursday 11/19/20, 11:00am... Already starting out on the wrong foot! I called to book a room through the hotel (despite cheaper options through third party websites). As I’m booking the room on the phone, I bring up the fact that the price is $5 cheaper on these other sites. Instead of trying to match the price, the response was, “It’s fine and dandy if you prefer to book through the other websites!” (Just that typical NOLA mentality of “I get paid a certain amount to do this job. I get paid regardless if you book and I’m NOT going to go above and beyond in my position here” that I was born & raised and used to when I lived there... and further reminds me as to why I left the city 15 years ago.) If there were any concerns as to what they’re doing to speak to COVID precautions, this person’s work ethic over the phone gives me a pretty good hint as to what to expect... bare minimum, piss-poor effort. I’ll book elsewhere.
The hot tub was a huge disappointment. Definitely not worth the upcharge! Nonsmoking smelled like the smoke area.
Wish you could rate a 1/2 star..TV did not work properly, fire alarm went from 3am until 5 am. Elevators were out of service. No coffee in site in the lobby...
