For the $ if you are just looking for a clean room that won't hurt your wallet this place was just that. Friendly and efficient staff. The courtyard was a nice added bonus.
Not enough hot water. TV needs a new cable box. Many channels do not come on. The AC/Heater switches do not work. Tried to put on heat but continued to blow cold air. Could not regulate temperature in room 325. Bedspread had a burnt hole on it..Don't think floor was ever swept or mopped.
First day during Covid-19 pandemic emergency stay, I found drug paraphernalia (used needles) stuffed behind a microwave in my newly checked into room. Management claimed to be okay with two pets per room and then threatened an early check out after paying for a one week stay (ONLY 1 PET PER ROOM AT THIS LOCATION!) Management also tried to overcharge me at check in.nnThis is the ONLY Red Roof Inn location in Louisiana and its surrounding states that doesn't allow more than 1 pet per room. Owner attempted to charge an additional 25.00 PER DAY to continue my stay. I recommend bringing your business to a hotel that is actually pet friendly and who knows how to clean in the midst of a pandemic.
Pleasantly surprised compared to other locations we've stayed at. Phone worked, stopper was there for tub, a/c worked fine, remote to t.v. worked. Just not enough hot water for 2 ppl to bathe back-back. Only drawback was blow dryer could not plug in bc mirror covered most of the plug. Overall, I will stay here again! We visit NOLA often.
Room was clean, nice, but there is a huge problem with not having hot water, there is a electric water heater in the room, with a fuse box switch. I take a bath, and have not even a half ofa bathtub of hotwater. More like luke warm. Disappointed. Otherwise nice motel. So if you dont care abot hot water than its good. Not even enough hot water for one bath or another person.
