While we had an interesting first introduction (inside joke ud83dude42), this stay will go down as one of my favorites. I have honestly never met a General Manager with as much pride and commitment to customer satisfaction than Rod Jarrah. He is a consummate professional dedicated to safety, cleanliness, and guest experience. Holiday Inn Corporate needs gentlemen like Rod to spearhead regional, national - if not global efforts to make every Holiday Inn as fantastic as his. Rod - thank you for everything, my friend. Look forward to seeing you again!
Hotel was okay. Smells a little. The fitness center leaves a lot to be desired, looks like more of an after thought. The room I stayed in has a lot of shortcuts taken in regards to the fit and finish. other than a large coffee stain on the curtain It was relatively clean . Beds were comfortable. The desk drawer was broken. The room layout is a little odd. ... I wish I could open the window, but I had a bed for the night which is all I really needed.
Very clean room. Excellent staff and service. I will have no problem going there again if I'm in the area. The free breakfast was very good. The only complaint I had was that the parking lot was full of ice and snow. It was very dangerous. It was this way when we checked in and when we checked out.
Giving 2 stars only because the bar stayed open for us after a very long travel day with a four year old. And the bartender was great! Otherwise... 1 star max. Heard Route 66 ALL night long like we were sitting in the median. Bed was so soft, I'm in traction. Hotel showing it's age and needs repairs (broken lock on bathroom door, missing sink stopper, broken floor tiles). Left Manassas area for a reason... Won't be back.
The service for the breakfast is awesome. Food is bland though. It’s got no flavors and very limited options. The room is wonderful with good mattresses and fluffy pillows. Please update your breakfast to your guests while checking in as this could boost your growth. Everyone loves to have hot breakfast.
