Chestnut Hill Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I eloped here. Everything was perfect! Kathleen and Troy are amazing. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Stress free and luxurious.

Terrible! The room smelled like cigarette smoke! Not recommended at all! I had my fiance take us to another place because I couldn't stand it. Was a waste of time and money as they would not refund my fiance!

We absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and the place is beautiful. Lorna was wonderful and very attentive. The owners, Kathleen and Troy were so welcoming and friendly. They truly make you feel at home! Highly recommend! ❤

Daughter's wedding here was a beautiful event.

My husband and I just got back from a weekend at Chestnut Hill Bed & Breakfast and there are not enough words to describe how wonderful the weekend was. From the moment we arrived, everything was so well orchestrated and beautifully done that we felt like we were on vacation miles away and not just an hour from home. When we arrived, the innkeepers, Troy & Kathleen, greeted us on the back porch and offered to help with our bags while they took us to our room. We actually got married at Chestnut Hill in 2013 and were back for the first time since the wedding to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. We stayed in the Alexander Daly Suite which was awesome! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had the most amazing bathroom with a full 2-person Jacuzzi. I’m often cautious when staying in hotels because I feel like the sheets are never clean but at Chestnut Hill the sheets and blankets were fresh, clean and incredibly soft (I actually looked for the brand so I could buy some for my own home). My husband wanted to make it even more special and called Kathleen and Troy to coordinate having a dozen red roses and a dozen chocolate covered strawberries put in our room as a surprise for me which was a nice touch.nSince we were using this getaway to relax we never left the B&B; we enjoyed walking around the grounds, doing a lot of back porch sitting, enjoying drinks with the other guests in the basement bar (with a stocked fridge) and playing fetch with our German Shepherd. That’s another thing; this is a pet friendly B&B so we were able to bring our dog without any problems or complaints (I think he even got a treat or two from the staff). :)nnI have traveled around the world and stayed in 5-stars hotels and Chestnut Hill B&B is just as luxurious as those but has far more personalized service. I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was but to put it simply…it was the perfect combination where southern hospitality met luxury.
