Probably the best resort you can find in the peninsula area of Virginia or eastern Virginia in general. Very well maintained with upgrades to the 1940's original build. Timing is everything. I am sure it is more pristine in the spring and summer with increased guests and boating parties. Great place for weddings and reunions. By far the key difference here is the staff. Everyone is very attentive and tries hard to make your stay the best.
Love The Tides Inn. My wife and I went for the first time 1/16/21. Just wanted to get away for a couple days. When checking in we were greeted with an upgrade to Ashburn Suite. Wow!! That was super nice, the view was picture perfect too. Love this place. Friendly, clean, and inviting. Can't wait for our next trip!!
Beautiful resort in a nice area. We enjoyed the spa, golf course, restaurants, and did a nice boat tour of the area. The Tides Inn was an excellent long weekend, we are looking forward to going back!

A beautiful day to take the boat across the river and tie up at Tides for drinks and a great brunch.
