We were seated outside and our server promptly brought waters and introduced herself. We ordered “foxtails” (cocktails) and they were both excellent.nnFor food, we chose to eat some starters and share an entree. The deviled eggs were great. Nothing mind blowing but very good. The oysters were nice but in my opinion, less brine than they should have. The lamb was cooked very nicely and was easy to split. The wings are a must! The only reason I wouldn’t order the wings is if I was also ordering the half duck. They were prepared fairly similarly and I would get one or the other every time. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy underneath. The half duck was very tender and the sauce they use for the wings and duck are certainly worth trying to recreate at home. It was terrific!

Incredible dinner! 4 courses that each were delicious! The waiters were informative and personable. The fire places inside set the mood and there is outdoor seating available. It's an expensive dinner but a fantastic experience.nnThe room at the inn was nice and clean. Only thing was the pillows were incredibly flat. Breakfast is brought to the room in the morning which was great! Overall loved it!

Simply amazing food, drinks, ambiance and service! So good, we cancelled our dinner plans for the following night and booked The Red Fox for a second night! Drinks were perfectly made (our favorite cocktails place is The Dead Rabbit in NYC - cocktails here were comparable!). Menu was excellent, we selected from the a la carte menu, plus some of the tasting menu options. Everything we had was wonderful. Had our two young kids with us too! Our server, Mason, was excellent, we asked for him again on our second night! Highly recommend The Red Fox. We look forward to returning!

Quaint bed & breakfast inn located in the heart of Middleburg. The local shops and restaurants are in walking distance, adding to the fun experience of staying here. Their restaurant has a Chef's Tasting menu worth considering. ud83dude0b
