CVS

I put my prescription in on Saturday and then of course they never have it in stock. They said it will be in on Monday and they would text me when it’s ready. Since I haven’t heard from them I decided to call to check the status and have been on hold for 45 minutes until I finally hung up. I will have to go get my damn prescription and take it elsewhere. Very Very disappointed ud83dude21

Hey CVS ... hire more people!!! I shouldn't have to wait an hour on the phone or in the drive through or in the store for a prescription. Especially when you say it's ready for pick up. Your delivery system is poor also. Don't blame the delivery people. You are ultimately responsible for that if you are handing them prescriptions.

Do NOT get your Covid test here. The CVS right down the road at the intersection of Shelton Shop and Garrisonville is far and away better. This CVS, both times one hour wait despite having an appointment. Overworked staff. Much more efficient and pleasant experience at other store.

I will be frank. I do not like CVS as a chain but some locations are better than others. However this location has one of the worst pharmacies I have ever been to and after avoiding this location for over 8 years, I had to go last night to get an Rx for my father after he left the ER.nnI tried calling before I went to check and see if the Rx was ready but...the automated system just sends you in circles, probably on purpose because the corporation doesn't want to hire enough staff at each location.nnOf course when I get there, the Rx isn't ready because they are...wait for it...out of stock. The sole employee working there is left to answer phones, assisting customers and handling the drive-thru! How can anyone handle all that efficiently? They can't... so long story short, I had to have the woman call the 24 hour location in Fredericksburg. They had the medication and the woman said she would transfer the Rx there. I told her I would head to Fredericksburg and go get the medication.nnI get to the CVS by Mary Washington Hospital and they tell me the Rx wasn't sent over so I have to wait another 30 minutes! I was livid but tried to be patient. I sat in my car to wait and it took 50 minutes for me to my father's medication and another 20 to get home to Stafford.nnSo long story short, if you can avoid either location...DO IT. If not, prepare for a headache.

Wanted to give them a chance but after today, nope. Only gave them 2 stars because the pharmacist and another worker were very helpful. The girl who was dispensing was not very pleasant. If you can’t find something under a last name, k the patient if there’s a different last name in the system. I was a pharm tech for the USAF, so I know that we have to offer excellent customer service. I don’t know why your system has me under my prior last name and not my current last name. It will not be my problem if insurance declined to pay because of the new last name not updated in your system.
