There isn't an adjective that can properly describe our stay. My husband & I have just left and we are planning our next stay- and I want to stay longer than 2 days next time! Our room was lovely and beautiful, clean and oh so comfortable.The views are exquisite. Though they were fully booked, the house is so large you feel like you have all the privacy you could ever want. The owners have thought of every accommodation for anything a guest could want or need. The pool and theater room are to die for, and we had so much fun playing billiards and darts. We felt the poetry inspiration throughout the property in the decor, color and ambiance. The service, the accomadations, the details were beyond anything we could hope for. Thank you for our completely perfect weekend!
Back in the beginning of March my two long time girlfriends and I had a weekend get away and stayed at Walden Hall! I had asked when booking if we could park our cars in the property before check in while we explored the area. The owners of the b&b answered very quickly and were more than accommodating! When we arrived our room ended up being ready early and the owners personally spoke with us, as the innkeeper was on her break, to help us get in and make sure we had everything we needed (even making sure we all had a cozy robe). Kaitlin (I believe), the innkeeper, was so helpful and so sweet throughout our stay and served us such an amazing breakfast the next morning! My friends and I had such a wonderful experience and were in such amazement the entire weekend with how beautiful the property was! I know myself and my friends will definitely be returning in the future!
We had to rearrange plans for my wife's birthday due to COVID-19, and we were fortunate to find Walden Hall. The property is beautiful and close to Culpeper for a convenient outing and delicious meal! We stayed in the Walt Whitman suite, and it was more comfortable than we expected. With the comfortable, clean robes, ample space to relax, oversized shower with wall sprays, and very comfortable bed, the room was very impressive. In addition, the billiard table, dart board, and lounge area in the basement, as well as the well kept pool and spacious pool deck out back, offered sufficient activities to keep us entertained. Overall, the panoramic views, delicious breakfast on the veranda, and sounds of nature offered a tranquil retreat from the daily grind. The Romance Package and helicopter tour offered through the reservations made our stay unforgettable. Many thanks to Julie, Dave, and Cammy for making my wife's birthday so memorable.
This is a must go to bed and breakfast. The owners are soooo welcoming..the house is gorgeous. Me and my boyfriend stayed for father's day for a surprise for him. His first in a bed and breakfast and I'm glad this was the place I selected for him..we stayed in the Longfellow suite (I believe it's called).. it is beautiful..the breakfast was amazing and the peace of mind we received while there will last until our next stay.. thanks for everything we will be back SOON.
Recommended by a friend, and so we visited this past weekend. We were much in need of a quiet, relaxing get-a-way and this B&B was perfect. So quiet here, the perfect unwind. A lot to do without leaving the B&B in their activity space downstairs. Beautiful surroundings inside and out. Left feeling pampered. Will certainly visit again.
