Roaches in the room. Dirty towels. Stains on floor and in shower. Rude owner. No food restaurant will even deliver to this location. Owner goes to check room after you leave before you get your deposit back I asked why? He said you make sure nothing was stolen??! Are you kidding me?nWould not ever recommend this place and wanted to share so others don't have to experience this.
For a cheap hotel, actually clean, clean linnen and towels, very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of damages from previous guests, but probably why it's cheap. Would definitely recommend for budget and cleanliness!
Terrible experience. Very unhospitable and unfair pricing. My car's alternator died on the highway, so the tow company brought me here as this was apparently the only hotel in the area that took pets (I have a dog). Not a big deal. I get there, and someone shows up after 4-5 minutes of ringing the front desk. I ask for a room for the night, and apparently the only room they can give me is a smoking room (which smelled terrible and was freezing cold when I walked in). Apparently there's not a single non-smoking, pet-friendly room? I'm skeptical. On top of that, the price ended up being $65, plus a $10 pet fee. The pet fee is whatever, but $65? Remember, this is not a high quality hotel, and I counted 3 cars in the parking lot, so I know it's not like there's high demand and thus high cost. Plus, there's no wifi or breakfast. The next morning, since I knew my car wasn't going to be repaired until about 2pm (checkout was 11am), I asked if I could get it extended by a few hours until I get the call. The manager tries to charge me another half-day price. For 3 hours when I have literally no where to go? And when there's plenty of open rooms? Maybe that's fair to charge me, but its certainly not hospitable or understanding of my situation. I got home today, and just for kicks, checked pricing on the hotel. Google is telling me the highest price this whole next week is less than $50. So it just happens the one day I show up the price got jacked up $15? I don't think so. Seems to me the owner saw I had no choices and took advantage. Avoid going to this hotel if at all possible. Also to speak to the quality: There was a small mound of food (old pizza, cheese, and noodles(?)) dumped on the edge of the parking lot to feed something. I don't know who replenished the supply but there was new food the 2 days I was there...not very high quality to see a pile of leftover food just rotting by the parking lot. On the positive, the sheets smelled fresh and the floor was polished to the max.
Shower was hot bed wasn't uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly. Best part about the stay was the price. Once i got in my room as soon as i turned on the lights i saw a cockroach, when i woke up in the morning after a not so good sleep. due to worrying whether or not I'd carry a roach home with me, i wanted to make coffee and the coffee pot was filthy. When i went to the lobby to check out and tell them the issues i had no one was there there was a sign that said to pick up the phone and someone would be right there to help me i waited 5-10 minutes after picking up said phone and no one showed. I would not recommend this hotel even on the cheap price. 5-10 more mins up 77N and there are 4-5 hotels that look much nicer.
Not very friendly. Our car broke down, didn't have much cash, we rented a room for 1 night, the next morning we offered another $20 if we could stay (in what appeared to be an empty motel) until the tow truck arrived later on that day, he offered us a late check out(1 hr later than the normal 11am check out time) for $20. $20 for one more hour? No thank you. We sat in our car until the tow truck arrived.
