CVS in Galax has always had more work then they could handle but the pharmacy staff is amazing. The Pharmacists are polite and knowledgeable also. You may wait a little longer for you prescription at CVS but the people behind the counter are worth the wait.

After previously waiting over a day for a prescription I thought it was just a busy time for the pharmacy and left it as such but it continues to happen. I get automated reminders that prescriptions are ready to pick up and when I go to pick them up, the prescriptions are not ready. Providers call/fax antibiotics in and they say they have no record of it and then days later they call saying they are ready to be picked up after symptoms have subsided. Today I tried to call 7 different times with no success of speaking with pharmacy. Was on hold for almost 50 minutes before I hung up. It’s cruel. Please do better.

This place needs to be shut down! They took two days to fill my blood pressure medicine. They also shorted me 4 pills. When I picked up the medication I counted them in my car before leaving and noticed they were short. I went inside and kindly told the pharmacy that I received 26 pills instead of 30 for my 30 day supply. The lady said “no you’re lying I counted those myself. I’ve been doing this a while now so I don’t short people medication but nice try” Wow. It’s not that big of a deal to make a mistake. But to be too prideful to acknowledge it and short someone medication they desperately need because you’re ego is too big is indicative of a bigger problem. I’m on this medication to keep me alive!

They have improved greatly. Staff has always been friendly and now they're more efficient.

Associates aren’t friendly, and seem to carry an attitude, and then even though we have dropped off the prescription almost 2 hours prior to coming here, have been sitting in the drive thru for over 30 minutes. Should really consider hiring new associates ud83eudd37‍♂ufe0f
