Horrible communication. I called them to remove a swamp cooler and either close off the roof or install a skylight. They said they would come and look if it was possible to do a skylight or not. They never verified the skylight option and went ahead with starting the project. Removed swamp cooler but left for me to find a way to dispose. After the project was started they told me it would be $100 more then the bid. Not too big a deal, but that’s not the end. Then they said they forgot to tell me the don’t do the work on the inside of the house. There part would cost another $200-300 plus I’d have to get someone else to finish. So, thru did end up installing the skylight about a month ago, but it still looks horrible inside. The recommended company came out to give me a quote but because s & s didn’t finish their part it’s going to take a while and be a huge pain to finish the inside. All in all will cost me about $1000 More then expected and months of being patient.

S&S was quick and easy to work with after the last windstorm. No issues with scheduling or timing. Estimate was very reasonable, too.

Very happy customer. Not only did they honor a previous quote from a year ago for the work, but they were able to schedule two crews for the job and completed it in one day. Dumpsters took a couple of days to be removed, but a phone call got it done. They were very patient with the final payment as our insurance company took an excessive amount of time to send the final check after the job was completed. Would recommend highly and will probably ask for a bid on our daughter's house shortly.

From the first contact, I have been impressed with S & S Roofing. Josh, the estimator came out and did a complete review of what I was looking for. He took the time to explain why we were having problems and what he could do to get me taken care of. It only took about 4 days to get on their schedule. I was told they would deliver the dumpster on Thursday and the crew would arrive Friday morning about 6AM. The crew of 15 people arrived and had all my old shingles stripped and new decking and shingles put down and were all cleaned up and done by 16:30. During all this, they took the time to put tarps all around my home which caught most of the trash coming off the roof, but after all was done, they went over the flowers and lawn making sure it was all cleaned up and no trash, nails ect. was left for us to clean up. They also cleaned out all of our gutters. On Monday, I had a visit from one supervisor and later Josh, both just coming by, making sure everything was done to our expectations. I highly recommend this company S & S Roofing.
