So from the start of even booking our stay I found the experience phenomenal. They were extremely quick on responses and general information about local businesses and places to eat. Being this was our first time to visit Cannon Beach they were wonderful answering our questions. With the situation with COVID and the new rules in how they have to do things my husband and I did not feel overwhelmed or feel like there was any real burden or stress on us. They had everything laid out perfect and with ease. Explanations on how we needed to do things were well explained, our room felt clean and safe. The hotel is in excellent walking distance to the beach and local businesses. Which I also have to say all the businesses I felt at ease going into. They had doors open, plenty of space walking around. The bed and linens were comfortable, the gas fire place was great to take the chill out of the room. The sitting area out front is cute. This hotel checked all the boxes off for us! Price is excellent, comfortable and great service! P.S the doggie buckets were just the sweetest touch, we will be back for sure!

A lovely space for a getaway next to the beach, nearby shops, and restaurants.nnBeing close to the beach was our biggest factor when looking for a place to stay in Cannon Beach. It was nice and toasty - the heater works wonderfully! The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. so that makes it easy to prepare and enjoy home cooked meals. You can tell the property is a bit on the older side, but everything works pretty well. A plus that it was dog-friendly and there is a poop bag dispenser on the property and in the area. Staff were so courteous and lovely.nnThe only cons - The wifi is very weak, unfortunately. Service for both Verizon and AT&T are 2 bars at the most. The TV's roku also lagged quite a bit, so it was hard to watch shows.

Cute place, but it doesn't have air conditioning and the shower situation is a hot mess - you get water all over the floor and not enough towels to deal with it.nnThe sanitation practice seemed good. Remote controls looked like they were sanitized.nnThey had to text us the code for the lockbox to access old school keys 30 minutes before check-in.nnThe bed and pillows were comfy. The fireplace was nothing to write home about.nnThe toilet after flush seemed to run forever annoying at night and didn't seem to have flushing power (don't take a big poo)!nnIt's next to the beach so that is really cool. They also have a toaster, dishes, coffee maker, microwave, fan, and small fridge.

Worst experience I’ve had in Cannon Beach!nnRoom is extremely small, old, dirty and uncomfortable.nThere is mo dresser or enough wardrobe to put your clothes.nBed is steep and pillows are flat. There is no night stand. There is a light out in porch flashed on your eyes all night even with closed blinds.nRestroom is old, its floor is cracked and not maintained for years. There is no electric outlet for hairdryer and other uses.nThe air force has no thermostat and the room gets either hot or cold.nThere is no service for new towels and sheets.nThis placed ruined our new year trip!nnI wouldn’t come back even for free! Such a shame.
