Surfsand Resort

My husband and I stayed here last week for our 5 year anniversary and it was PERFECT! I truly don't ever want to stay at another hotel on the beach. We had the beachfront room and it was so relaxing. The view was gorgeous and the huge tub and shower was so nice. The staff was all friendly and treated us so well. We loved the chocolates in the room, the cookies, popcorn and a movie, the pool, and riding the bikes around town! We'd love to do the bonfire next time we come. This place is worth every penny! So glad we came here!

I stayed in a two bedroom suite with shared common area and it was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was very large, with a shower as well as a jacuzzi tub. Relatively luxurious. Amazing view of Haystack Rock. Everything seemed very clean. Really great TV with all kinds of streaming apps available. Definitely would stay there again.

Love Canon Beach! Surfs and resort is amazing and all three of my little children are having a blast. You will need to reserve their pool since space is limited. They have bikes to borrow that can ride street or beach. Rooms are very cozy and beds are super soft. Surfsand also provided beer tasting, cookies/coffee, and other fun activities. Surf board rental shop, restaurants, all within arms reach!!!

We arrived at the Surfsand late into the night (Valentines Day) after a fairly rough start to our vacation. We were greeted with the masked faces but smiling eyes and the sweet smell of essential oil. They quickly checked us into our room with a map and directions. They even offered to replace our toothbrushes, as United Airlines and Alaska Airlines both shared a part in losing our bags, with all of our belongings. We had replaced them by that time, however the gesture was so greatly appreciated after all we went through. The room was comfortable and we had a bottle of champagne to welcome us. A quick walk to Canon Beach, and plenty to see and do around the area. We will be making a point to come back.

This hotel is in a good area. They have their own access to the beach by haystack rock, and only a 10 minute walk maximum to lots of local shops, dining, coffee houses, and breweries. However, they hotel could be run better. The staff isn't too friendly, and they control you like mad during your 1 hour of scheduled pool and hot tub time. Maybe wait to visit here until covid is over and they will treat you better. Rooms are pretty decent too.
