Inn at the Shore

The fact that there were no phones in the room was awesome for me. Everything worked great, fireplace was warm and toasty the jetted tub was fantastic, the generous offering of eight pillows was almost too crazy to believe, and most importantly the room was clean and tidy and sanitary and we had no second thoughts about staying here.nnI also want to mention the intangibles, those little things that can either make or break a trip especially to the beach and especially for a multi-day getaway. The staff here is wonderful from the moment I walked in and checked in the young lady that helped me was very courteous and very educated and knowledgeable about the area in the city. when I stopped in yesterday to check in about towels and room service the lady there was definitely in charge of the operation and knew everything and answered every question for me. To the point, then I asked if there were any antique stores or flea market type stores that had oddities and collections beyond toys and junk. She mentioned three places and we went to all three and they were spectacular suggestions we wound up spending money at all three spots. So the little things the intangibles, the kind words the genuine smiles and correct information for guests. We expect the room and the amenities to be first class. We are always impressed and thankful for the wonderful treatment we receive at this hotel. You don't get service like this in Portland Oregon where they have hotels motels and places to stay all over the place.nnI highly recommend inn at the shore.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beach was right outside our door, and the jetted tub was amazing after a long day of extreme adventure! The complimentary bicycles were a nice addition, as well. The only reason don't give five stars is: 1) Check-in is 4:00, and check-out is 11:00. 2) The office is closed at 9 pm.

Beautiful looking room with a wonderful view. I was a bit disappointed that the fireplace would not lite the first night and we had a roller blind that would not stay down. However, management had both issues fixed the next morning. Would have liked at least one cosy chair in the room. Overall, liked the place and will probably return.

Large, clean and very modern rooms. Super kind and helpful people who work here as well. Ended up cancelling our other reservation to stay here instead. Right on the beach and pet friendly!!

Downstairs- 2 bedroom suite. 1.5 baths. And a kitchenette. Lots of pillow options to choose from. Kitchenette had pretty much everything we needed. Small cosmetic complaints but nothing that would stop me from coming back. Note: During reservations, make sure to ask for something other than the ground floor, the slider opens right onto the promenade
