Safeway Pharmacy

Called in prescription at 9ish went in at 11. They did not receive the message yet. They said there was only 1 message and it was my prescription. Said it would be done in 45 min. and a text would be sent. No text. Went in at 1pm and it was finally finished. Terrible costumer service and super slow.

On two different occasions the pharmacy was able to tell me how I could save some money without effecting my insurance or quality of my prescription.nThis is a difference between just being open for business and taking care of your local customers.nEveryone is helpful and friendly on a daily basis.nThat is why we live at the beach.

I agree totally with the previous reviewer (Keith). I started filling my prescriptions here several years ago after being a staunch Costco client and although the techs at the big 'C' got to know me and were very fiendly, they were just too busy to get familiar with my situation and medicine requirements. The staff at the Safeway Pharmacy have been able to just that, and have worked hard to get the prescriptions to me when I'm out of town and come up short due to delays in work schedules, etc.nI think Keith said it best - I just wanted to chime in so that anybody reading these would know that his was not an isolated incident.

Very slow service and no place to sit.

Riteaid was out of my prescription, so I ran over to Safeway. The lady there said they had my medicine available, but because it wasn't 9am yet she couldn't even hold my prescription for 20 minutes until they're open to fill it.
