The Leaning Tree Lodge

This is the new name of the Darby B&B, which we understand was changed a couple years ago. We’re so glad we found this spot at the last minute after a long backpacking trip! Beautiful house, great location, and amazing hospitality! We loved the outdoor patio with the fire pit, the comfy bed, and getting to know the owners. Also, the breakfast was above and beyond what we expected. Would definitely stay again!

By far the best lodging experience I have ever had. Gene and Nedra are absolutely the best hosts. And Nedra's breakfast bagel sandwich is amazing. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and an all around inviting atmosphere. The view and location are tough to beat, especially with Lost Trail Ski Area only 26 miles away. I would highly recommend staying here anytime you are in the south end of the Bitterroot Valley!!
