Copper King Convention Center, Ascend Hotel Collection

The hotel definitely have a classy feel when you enter which is enhanced by the restaurant and bar that is conveniently attached. however, the hallways and rooms stunk of marijuana. It was so strong it gave me a headache and made sleeping difficult. The beds were very uncomfortable and felt like a Motel 6 type of bed. The rooms had poor lighting for night time and the curtains did not block the light well during the day. The closet was very small and would only fit a couple of items. The sink was not in the bathroom which was awkward. The walls seemed about average for sound proof levels. The food at the restaurant was very good. The restaurant service was all over the board. One night the gal was terrible, and the other night, we had Cooper and he was incredibly fantastic. There was a nice gathering place with couches and chairs if a group wanted to hang out in the evening. The hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast had many options and went a step above the basic toast and waffle offerings.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable! The staff did an excellent job while we were there for a Conference for 4 days. The food at the Rib and Chop was and service great. The entire staff in both places went above and beyond for us!

We stayed for 4 nights. They were great, we had great service all the way around! Staff was great! Thank you Copper King!

This is a very nice hotel. I loved staying here. I highly recommend this venue.
