Silver Creek Hotel

Took a super long time for someone to come and check us in. Not just this hotel but numerous places in this area do not have automatic doors for the handicapped. My sister has a walker and this area was pretty challenging at times.nBut the rooms are quiet. Amenities are nice and overall enjoyed our stay.

I really do love this place. This is the definition of UNDER RATED. They think they are a 2.5 star hotel but they are well above that rating! I don’t even want to leave this rating because I’d rather the prices stay low, but they deserve this rating too much for me to keep the place a secret. Stay in Bellevue, Sun Valley is only 20 minutes away, plus the drive is beautiful so ya know just stay here save money.

Very nicely decorated. There are some nice small perks that a lot of hotels aren't offering during covid. We arrived late, had two adjacent rooms, our tvs were not working. The clerk got them both working and was very kind. The facility has no laundry service. I would have given a 5 but I fell in the very slick bathtub and then slipped again on the slick bathroom floor. I had a handicap accessible room so I can't imagine if someone handicap slipped. I'm 48. They just might want to add something to the tubs. I did find the roll up plastic mat after I slipped on floor. The rooms are very clean and hotel is newer. I would go back if I'm in the area again.

Everything was great except the part where the head housekeeping stole some sticky green herbs out of my room while I was gone skiing. The front desk confirmed through video surveillance that noone else was in the room except her, but she denied it and they did not do anything as it was her word against mine. The GM was supposed to call to see if they could make it up somehow, but weeks have now passed, and it obviously isn't a n issue for him that his head of housekeeping is stealing out of guests rooms.nnIf you stay here, don't leave your valuables laying around! Other than that everything was great though. Very clean and good amenities. I'd probably stay again but would leave the do not disturb sign on my door and take all valuables with me.

Excellent service, very friendly staff, and clean rooms. Breakfast is great!
