We had the privilege of spending a night is this quaint lodge. Our travel plans didn't quite go as planned and Frank, Phyllis and their puppies were angels sent from heaven! They helped us with a tire issue on our motorcycle and then mailed my husband's insulin that we forgot when we left! We drove across the USA and stayed in many hotels and lodges and no doubt whatsoever this was the most cozy of all. The owner, his wife and dogs are all just lovely people and will certainly make you feel at home. The town has nice breakfast Cafe around the corner. If you are considering staying in the area definitely stay here. You will enjoy it.
Other than the beautiful scenery, the beautiful hummingbirds that are everywhere there's nothing more relaxing than a great host & nice, clean cozy lodge to unwind & unplug. Though you don't need to but they do have wi-fi and you can walk to the post office after you bought a post card and sandwich from the general store within walking distance!nSay Hello to Frank!
I have never met nicer people in my life!! The owners are absolutely wonderful! The rooms have that older feel, but we VERY clean, comfortable, quiet and warm. Loved our stay!!!
Clean. Pleasantly surprised. Comfortable beds. Amazing view of mountains out front and cattle pasture out back. Sitting out front watching hummingbirds is very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.
