Wonderful and relaxing stay. The house is beautiful and has a very homey feel. Moose the Inn dog is a delightful little companion. Breakfast is served promptly and it is delicious. If you're thinking about traveling to the area don't bother with a hotel. The Tudor Rose is so much better.

The Tudor Rose is such a magical place! Incredibly secluded, but just a 5 minute drive from downtown Salida, it's truly the best of both worlds. We arrived to a roaring fireplace in our chalet, and woke up each morning to incredible rocky mountain views from almost every window. Hikes are less than a 3 minute drive away, and the owners have crafted a winding trail through the property for anyone who wants a casual walk. There are also 1890's homesteads on the property you can visit! The new owners are kind and attentive - this includes their Pomeranian, Moose. Would absolutely visit again.

Sara did such a lovely job hosting my partner and I and added special birthday accommodations to our room! The B&B was clean, cozy, and served a delicious breakfast! Will definitely stay again! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Magical place and it was a wonderful stay. The staff were extremely nice and warm. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back. Such a great area to explore around the place as well.

Stayed in the Henry Tudor suite and it was a fantastic experience. The owners are friendly and responsive, and provided us with a home-cooked breakfast and entertainment in the form of their tiny Pomeranian, Moose. The room had a legit hot tub, Jack and Jill sinks, and a super comfortable four-post king bed. Finally, the property sits near the top of a hill, so the room and building have great 360 views of the gorgeous terrain around it.nnThe only (very minor) thing I could say was a con was that the hot tub was a bit confusing to operate. The water was VERY warm, and I was hoping to turn it down a bit so I could enjoy it longer than a few minutes, but the instructions were a little unclear on whether or not it was ok to turn off the heat. Like I said, very minor.nnI'd highly recommend this place if you're exploring the central Rockies. and want a unique stay!
