Online persona via pictures is really good. Once you actually get to this place it's just like a motel 8. Walls to thin, no parking.nnDoes have three hot tubs though which was nice. But you only get 30 min per day.

This hotel is awesome! The hotel is nice inside with very comfortable beds, practical and useful seating areas, with personal touches that show that the folks that run this place really care! Two beautiful outdoor hot tubs, and a great little spot to hang out around their little fire pit. Pet friendly! We stayed in room 215 which had a king bed and a couch that pulled out to an additional queen bed. Bravo Loyal Duke Lodge!!!!

Five stars for several reasons: (1) the people: incredibly friendly and helpful staff who genuinely care, (2) the amenities: awesome pool and hot tubs, grab-and-go breakfast, and their own coffee blend, and (3) the value: it's a no-frills hotel with regard to the rooms (it was clean and functional), but the location and convenience are exceptional. We will definitely stay here again next ski trip.

Great service at a pretty good rate for the quality of rooms provided. Also the most important part was the warm, welcoming smile and all around demeanor of the front desk clerk, Macy. Very kind and willing to help even when she isn't being treated the greatest from a disgruntled customer. Great hotel with even better people.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and the property was quiet even for a motor lodge. The outside area had grills, seating and a fire pit. The breakfast was great, little more then continental. The hot tub area was on a sign up schedule due to Covid and it was perfect! We had a hot tub to ourselves for a while, even the pool was empty. That should be a permanent thing. We read the reviews prior to staying and yes, the rooms are pretty small and the shower was kind of small. You can tell it’s an older hotel that’s been updated but they did a great job! The furniture and decor was great. Only thing I could say is there was a place to hang your clothes but no hangers. Would stay again next time we are in Salida.
