Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was modest due to COVID but very well done. Its relatively close-proximity to downtown was great. The Mexican restaurant next door is a quick walk away and serves up tasty food and drinks.
We stayed one night on a trip to visit family. The price was very reasonable and the room was really nice. Most importantly, it was clean, which I know because I had the Lysol wipes out first thing if only to make myself feel better about traveling. The beds were really comfortable and the room was recently updated. The shower was clean and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I fully recommend staying at the Gateway!!
Room is nicely decorated and very clean! Check-in was fast and easy, front desk clerk was very nice!
The hotel in general was good. Rooms were clean, well lit parking lot and pretty close to everything in town. The deciding factor to staying here was the owners responses to reviews left by the cesspool of society. Some people just need to be called out on their BS and either the owner or manager does a fantastic job. Next time I need a good laugh I will go through and reread them. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great hospitality.
