Always excellent food and they showcase all kinds of local cuisine. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, all the drinks, quaint dining atmosphere and lots of local history on the walls. This is the most expensive restaurant in the San Luis Valley so don't be shocked at the prices, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Excellent historical gem of a hotel in Del Norte. We did not visit the restaurant, but our room was very nicely restored, the hotel is a treasure of history. The staff is hospitable and the setting is very nice. A visit when the courtyard is in full swing would be a great time.
Really cute hotel with excellent service. Booked a room last minute and received a call from co-owner Kodi that the front desk had closed but he would meet us at the hotel when we arrived - great service! He also let us store our bikes inside to prevent them from being stolen off the car. Very kind and helpful and at a rate that doesn’t break the bank. Would recommend this hotel if you are in the area!
This is a beautiful hotel restored with a lot of love and community support. The building is lovely with many charming details. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The owners and staff were considerate and attentive. The restaurant is amazing; I would highly recommend making a dinner reservation! I would love to stay here again, especially if I am visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park.
The Windsor is back open! Great bourbon selection with very generous pour.
