The Cabins of Grand Mesa

We stayed here for a few days and loved it! The cabins are clean, and have great decor themes. The owners were amazing! They were hospitable, gracious and accommodating. The cabins are only a few miles from town and also from the Grand Mesa. Great location! We will be back!

The cabin was well maintained and clean also they had a kuerig with assorted drink options! Cute fire place and nice open lay out! And Liz was very accommodating and brought us fir wood almost immediately. We will be spending our valentines days here from now on!

Our family spent a delightful week at the Cabins. Liz couldn't have been more accommodating, making sure our every need was met. Each cabin was unique and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect with easy access to biking, hiking, paddle boarding and even wine tasting. The ability to have each of our three families in their own cabin during this time of Covid 19 was also reassuring. We could share meals outdoors in the private space behind each cabin as well as the open space. Having our own grills was an added plus. We loved exploring the Western Slope and enjoying the Colorado great outdoors. Liz and her husband are the best hosts ever and we look forward to our next visit.

The Cabins hold a special place in my heart. My grandparents owned this property decades ago and my Mom grew up here. She spent much of her teenage years on the property picking worms, harvesting fruit from the trees, caring for livestock animals, and cleaning the cabins! We first visited the property together in 2013 and were fortunate to be able to come back and stay in the Log House again this year. Being under new ownership, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Liz made us feel right at home. She was very attentive, friendly, and sincere. Thank you Liz for making our stay such a positive experience and for all your hard work & efforts in maintaining the Cabins & Log House. We will visit again soon.

Peaceful, private, quaint, clean, authentic. These are the words that come to mind when reflecting on our stay at The Cabins of Grand Mesa. We absolutely loved our time spent here! The cabins are conveniently located on the outskirts of Cedaredge so it’s a quick 5 minutes into town for supplies and a short 20 minutes up the road for activities on Grand Mesa. The cabin we stayed in was great. It had a comfortable queen sized bed and 2 twin beds. The cabin looks small on the outside, but it’s actually quite roomy and comfortable inside. It had stable, quiet ceiling fans in all the rooms to cool us off at night and an air conditioning unit in one of the windows, which we didn’t really need since the temps at night were nice and moderate. There’s a full kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, etc. There were nice little touches like a flip book of the restaurants in the area with their menus. The decor inside was charming and fun to look at with antiques and old school Colorado gear. It made us “big city folk” feel a bit country. Outside there’s an area out front to relax on chairs or a hammock. You could play games like ladder ball or corn hole. The stars at night were spectacular since the area is so dark. We loved hanging out behind the cabin by the fire pit and star gazed before bed. We would love to return at some point in the future. Liz was helpful and always available for questions or tips about the area.
