I was supposed to be given a quote by a man who showed up without any sort of measuring device. No ruler, no yardstick, no measuring tape, no laser measuring device. He didn't even offer a business card (etiquette and professionalism lacking throughout my experience). I brought out my worst tape because he might have tried taking it (I had to ask for it back).nnHe was driving a very expensive American-made SUV. Maybe he was the owner or maybe he's been able to convince people to buy their product. Not a good ecological choice to drive for quotes and a vehicle that is likely to need more service as the mileage builds up, it shows poor decisions.nnHe proceeded to tell me, with my many different roof lines, that they could not do the same way that it was done on many other homes in my neighborhood. Of course his solution was costlier and directed water to places I wanted to keep water away from.nnWhat a colossal waste of time. The company didn't even follow up to ask about my experience with my appointment.nnThe lack of vision was pathetic. This guy was not solution-based, but greed based. Completely tone deaf to my wants and needs. Bad conversationalist, would stay engaged if he was talking about something but I had to repeat questions most of the time.nnI can say this much, if you hire them, you best hope that you've gotten other quotes and ask for details and things in writing, like walk-through inspections, free preventative maintenance and annual inspections. I suspect they'll forget your name after they get paid.
