Spending Valentine’s Day with my girls...ncruising around Pacific Grove. My greatest Valentines I’ve ever had. Taking the bike path & getting lost in the colorful maze of homes of PG was magical.nWe found some little dirt paths and the eBikenwould push us with ease. The dirt path lead to a park where we posted the bikes up and let our daughter get out to play.nnThe bike the we rented had an attachment for the child seat. The other bike had a cool additional seat as well but we used the one with the child seat due her only being shy of 3. The bikes were super solid! Really was impressed with their speed and ease of use. Honestly just an amazing day exploring around and feeling the sense of adventure. Reminded me of being a kid. And I must say thank you to Martin at the shop. He really made our day quite radical! I Will come back and do it again, actually it’s my 3rd day in a row!nnSeriously.... 3 in a row!

We had such high hopes for this place! The location was awesome, the bikes were the coolest!! BUT, unfortunately we had a not so cool experience. We showed up when they opened and we were told exactly which bikes would accommodate our family...but since it was still raining that we needed to wait a few hours for the roads to dry. We killed some time (planning our entire afternoon around our bike ride) and went back a few hours later when the rain had stopped. A new person was now working and he told us that he had heard we were coming back, but he wanted us to wait longer as the roads still were not 100% dry. We were annoyed at this point since we had already waited a few hours, the sun was out and we just paid the parking meter for 4 hours...but figured they knew best, so went off to kill more time. We gave ample time when we returned, making sure we had everything, that the roads were dry and of course we paid the parking meter AGAIN for 4 hours. This time, the same employee told us that upon further review they could not accommodate our family and that 2 of our kids had to be 21 to ride and they had rented out some of the bikes they had originally told is we could rent. NEVER...in any of our conversations did they the mention ages of our kids!! Dumbfounded by this news, we tried to make sense of the situation and asked what our other options may be and the response of the employee was that they had nothing that would accommodate our family. A half a day wasted and upset kids who were told they were going to be able to rent their own bike! What a joke. I would not recommend!

We drove down to Monterey on a whim for Valentine’s Day. We had never been but anticipated everything would be super busy but I knew I wanted to try to ride electric bikes. I did not make a reservation, which was a mistake on my part, but I called the store in Monterey and Allen was very nice, helpful, and accommodating and we were lucky enough to score the last 2 bikes they had for rental. It was such an easy process, and we had the BEST time! If you’re looking for something fun and a different way to explore the coast, I highly recommend this place for your e-bike rentals!n-John and Robbie Hall
