Hotel Manisses

Our long weekend stay was fantastic. Rooms were beautiful with very comfortable beds. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch (great people watching!) and the back porch for a quiet place to read. The staff was helpful with restaurant suggestions and beach towels/coffee for our trips to the beach. Ayla at the front desk was excellent, she was friendly, professional and went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay.

Stay away! I can think of few good things to say about my experience at Hotel Manisses. Nice garden, that’s about it. Overall the hotel was very poorly staffed, rude and unhelpful staff, very small rooms that looked dirty and very run down, terrible beds that sag a lot, hallways were a mess, everything in hotel needs to be repainted. Don’t waste your money! I haven’t shared a negative review before on google but this one was worth writing to help others avoid the same misstep

We had a nice dinner there last week in the middle of a nasty rain storm. The main reason why I wrote this review is not because of the food but honestly the excellent waiter service. The male worked very hard, was quick and totally understanding and even brought my kids a plate of cherries!!! Thank you. Now the food is what I would give a 3 star. Honestly the salad was very plain and the high light was the almonds that came from the garden. Bread came out warm and soft which olive oil on the table. For dinner had the steak and lobster which the steak was cooked to a nice med rare but not really any flavor, add some salt and pepper before grilling and the lobster was chewy but that is an easy seafood to overcook. High light of the meal was probably the potato that came with the dish. I realize we were a large party but the length of time between salad and main course felt like it took forever. I do not know if the staff is not used to having that large of a party but be ready for a long dinner. And typically with this large of a party and how much we spent in the past at nice dinner places typically the owner or manager will come and say hi, but nothing here at this nice restaurant. After all this I would try this location again to see if we improve on this review but I am in no rush to get back. Thank goodness for their staff otherwise this would be a 2 star.

Lovely dinner at the Manisses. Surf and Turf was delicious and the atmosphere was gorgeous. A little pricey but the food,atmosphere, friendly staff and bring on vacation balances that out. Helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. They did well with social dist and masks thought our waitress didn’t have hers pulled up (we chose not to say anything). I would recommend eating here.

This place is great. Didn't stay overnight yet but the food. Oooo the food... awesomeness. Ambiance and service is top notch. Dave the bar tender is on point. Best dinner experience with friends in a long while. I can only hope staying here is just as good, and I have a feeling it will be
