Beautiful UPDATED rooms.nWe came to the Blue Dory and Block Island for the second time this year, to celebrate a birthday, and heard that it was the most romantic inn on Block Island. Well, the rooms are stunning. All white comforters, hardwood floors, subdued fresh paint on the walls, yet still has a delightful antique feel; yes, we would have to agree very lovely! Comes with a full breakfast and wine service in the evening. We have already booked a third trip in the spring.

We stayed at the Waverly 3 and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect. It is steps away from the beach and right in the center of all the restaurants and shops. The view from our room was beautiful! There was three big windows facing the ocean with an open kitchen living room area. We felt connected to the beach even inside. The house was fully stocked with amenities; washer/drier, fridge, dish washer, coffee maker, plates and pans so that we could cook at home too. We also had a big patio with a table that we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast on. There was plenty of breakfast food options that changed daily. The food was great! There was also complimentary wine (and cookies) hour every night at 5:30. Bobby’s hospitality was five star! Emily and Bobby made our stay extra special. This was our third time returning this season because we loved our trips so much! This time we stayed in a cottage because they are pet friendly. Which is an awesome plus that we were able to bring our dog. We will definitely be returning to the Blue Dory and I highly recommend the cottages and Avonlea.

The Blue Dory was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were clean and bright as they have been freshly updated with a new look since the last time I was there. The location is perfect; the beach and shopping are just a few feet away. The staff was very nice, and breakfast was delicious!

Dreamy, majestic, welcoming comfy inn with the best hostesses and location. It was perfect for our 2 year anniversary getaway. Other than a few renovations going on, as the island just started opening up, it was a great stay. I would recommend and would come back here again. This place leaves a little special spark inside that not many places do. I imagine this was how bed and breakfast/ hosting was done years ago, and it’s nice to have that special few days of getaway on the island

My husband and I stayed at the inn for our anniversary. We had the most amazing stay from start to finish. The owner, Ann, was so welcoming and nice! She was always available if we needed anything. The rooms were beautiful! The bed was the most comfortable bed we ever slept in! We had the best sleep ever. The cookies and wine at 5 were delicious and we looked forward to it during our stay. The breakfast and the location were awesome! We can’t say enough good things. We would highly recommend it and would stay here again for sure!
