Park Terrace Hotel

I live in Manhattan and seldom have a need to stay in a hotel here but when my apartment was being painted I needed to decamp for a couple of days. Knowing I live in a tiny studio apartment, when family and friends come to visit they ask me for hotel recommendations. From my recent stay, I will without hesitation encourage them to stay at the Park Terrace Hotel on Bryan Park. Occupying a beautiful, modern building with stylish well-appointed rooms, the Park Terrace is located in the heart of Manhattan. I was fortunate to stay in a Deluxe Room, 1 Queen Bed (Studio View) located on the 12th floor. With a wall of windows the view from my room of nearby Bryant Park, surrounded by glittering skyscrapers, was straight out of the movies. I've traveled and stayed in many hotels for both work and pleasure and can easily say the Park Terrace is as fine as any comparable hotel at this price point in London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Sydney, San Paolo or Capetown. Many thanks to the staff, professional yet friendly, that set the stage for a wonderful New York experience.

Great location. Friendly, helpful staff.nRoom was small, but clean and stylish with a comfortable bed.nWhy 3 stars?nThere was a tray with a sign saying enjoy with our compliments. No idea what was missing. Also, no coffee cups, had some sent up. All Half n half pods were literally cheese. Which i discovered after putting them in the only coffee provided. Gave up and went out for breakfast.

I’m so glad that I picked this hotel! Since we are in COVID times, I think it’s important to note that this hotel is very clean and I felt comfortable. They checked our temperature upon arrival and everyone was wearing a mask.nnThe staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The room had a Smart TV, which was great for streaming and screen mirroring. We had a balcony but it’s not one that you can step out on, if that makes any sense.nnLastly, I love the location. Walking distance from a lot of places. I was able to park my car on the street (parking was easy to find because there aren’t that many people traveling to NYC now). Just a heads up though, while the hotel is across the street from Bryant Park, it’s not directly in front of it. It’s directly in front of the library that’s behind Bryant Park. My room was on 8th floor and I got a view of the library (some of Bryant Park if I stuck my head out the balcony). It sucked because the library is under construction at the moment so the view wasn’t that great but it’s not the hotels fault. I recommend asking for a higher floor if you want a better view. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This hotel was beautiful, clean and my puppy stayed free. They even let us park in the loading area for an extended time and had dog beds and bowls ready for my puppy. We were able to enjoy ice skating at Bryant Park and they gave us a certificate to Angelina Paris! ❤ufe0f I enjoyed my expresso machine, a refillable water station, free VOSS water and temperatures checks. Our room was sealed the linens were the best we’ve ever slept in!!!

Nice place for a weekend stay. It's close to almost everything. Loved it.
