All the reviews about the pharmacy being awful is 100% true. I switched prescriptions here during COVID for convenience. It's a fight to get them filled; it's a fight for doctors to give them information, it's a fight to get them to pick-up the phone. Any the are 100% unapologetic. I called another CVS and transferred my prescription in 3 minutes -- 7 times faster than this location will even pick-up the phone. If you can go anywhere else - do.

The Pharmacy at this CVS needs an overhaul and internal review ASAP. Trying to get a hold of a pharmacist is impossible. My partner has pneumonia and the Doctors office had to call several numbers along with waiting extreme amounts of time to get a hold of someone. NO (extra emphasis on the NO) pharmacy in the world is that busy. Pneumonia is a life or death issue and having to jump through hoops to get a medication filled and delivered is problem. CVS please look into how this pharmacy is run and either get them the help they need or something. Unfortunately there are no other CVS in this part of Brooklyn so this is problematic for the community.

9 times out of 10, something will go horribly wrong. It’s a dangerous gamble depending on this pharmacy to get your medications. If you will have medical complications from missing doses of a medication- do not go here. I’ve done everything I can, ordered my prescriptions as early as possible- but most of the time something will go wrong on their side. Almost every time I have called, I have been put on hold for more than thirty minutes- even an hour and 20 minutes one time. But once you get a hold of someone, you can expect to be cut off or dismissed and definitely not get the help you need no matter how kind or clear you are. I think they may be horribly understaffed. I don’t know what kind of lawyers they have, but this location should not even be open. It’s criminal. I would give zero stars if I could.

The store itself is fine, BUT DO NOT GO HERE FOR THE PHARMACY. They will take their time, sometimes give you the incorrect medications, and ignore calls while being right in front of them. Healthy and well people don’t need to go to pharmacies, and they exploit the fact that the customers are sitting ducks waiting for their medication, so they can take their time as much as they want. I just got off of a line of 22 people that took an hour and a half. I’ve been using this pharmacy for years, and every time I convince myself to keep going there for pickup for the convenient location, but it’s not Roth the stress (especially if you have to come back 3 days in a row because they hadn’t processed your medication right like this recent time).

If I could provide this CVS pharmacy zero stars I absolutely would. Firstly, I have utilized 3 different CVS locations throughout my life since high school and have had absolutely lovely experiences there. So when I moved to NYC and started to have issues with CVS pharmacy I was a little startled. The staff do not pick up the phone when you call and a few times because of how long I was waiting for assistance, the phone cut out. My providers also have not been able to reach the pharmacist to troubleshoot my prescriptions. This has resulted in requiring me to go in person to the pharmacy to answer simple questions that otherwise could have been completed over the phone. When I have shared my concerns with the pharmacy staff, I was met with extreme rudeness. There is also always a long line for both prescription pick up and the consulting counter. Clearly the staff here are overworked and they need more support in order to handle the most basic needs of customers. I am exhausted by the poor quality of service and will be taking my business elsewhere where it is more appreciated.
